Formats in the complete bundle
PES v6, DST, JEF, EXP, VP3, XXX and PEC are generated from the same stitch plan. The ZIP also includes a PDF thread worksheet, color-sequence CSV, SVG stitch paths and an editable .threadwork project.
PES and PEC
Commonly used in Brother and Baby Lock workflows. PES v6 preserves the custom RGB thread data used by this exporter. PEC maps to a fixed palette. Verify whether your machine accepts the PES version and hoop size.
DST and EXP
DST is widely used with Tajima and commercial embroidery workflows. EXP is used in Melco and some Bernina workflows. These exports do not retain custom RGB thread colors; follow the supplied thread sequence.
JEF, VP3 and XXX
JEF is associated with Janome, VP3 with Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff, and XXX with Singer workflows. JEF colors map to the format’s palette. Actual format and design limits vary by machine model.
What an SVG preview means
The SVG contains actual stitch paths. It is not an object-based native embroidery authoring file. Proprietary EMB, PXF and native CDR formats are not supported by this application.
Check before sewing
Confirm your machine’s supported file versions, maximum stitch count, available hoop and color-block limits. Move the file using the normal software or USB workflow recommended for your machine.
Convert your JPG artwork to PES
For a compatible PES machine, use the JPG to PES converter to generate a free stitch preview. Review the design size and thread layers before choosing a paid export plan. The converter page also includes checks for a PES file your machine cannot read.
